Description

Mary Ellen Mark photographed women inside the ward of the Oregon State Hospital during a monthlong stay in 1976. Licensed therapist, Dr. Karen Folger Jacobs joined her in observing the patients. This book, Ward 81 Voices, published these stories and photographs from their stay.
